111 Talented Students, Eight Exciting Games, One Unforgettable Game Studio Senior Show
For the past 18 years, graduating seniors in Champlain’s game majors have spent the last few weeks of their final semester working around the clock to refine the games they’ve been creating over the course of a year. On Friday, May 2, this year’s seniors are unveiling their work—and they want you to join them!
Everyone is invited to livestream the annual Game Senior Show?to celebrate the accomplishments of the Game Studio’s Class of 2025. Eight games will be presented by 111 graduating seniors. These games will then be available for the public to demo on campus from May 2 through May 10 at the Champlain Art Gallery.
As for what to expect, Jessie Gagnon, Chair of the Game Studio, explains: “Each presentation will feature a team introduction video, a game trailer, a live gameplay demo, and individual reels from the students who worked on each game.”

Learn MoreThe Game Studio at Champlain College is a unique learning experience that mirrors the way game studios operate in the real world. It brings together the skills and talents of students from seven different majors and challenges those students to lean on, learn from, and collaborate with their teammates to produce fully functioning games. Game Studio majors include: Game Art, Game Business & Publishing, Game Design, Game Production Management, Game Programming, Game Sound Design, and Interactive Narrative for Games & Digital Media.
“Senior projects like our Game Studio Senior Show culminate years of academic growth, bridging classroom learning with professional practice. These collaborative efforts showcase essential competencies needed to thrive in competitive industries,” said Dean Craig Winstead. “Through year-long projects, students experience authentic production cycles from concept to completion. They pitch ideas, receive feedback, adapt to requirements, and deliver polished work under real-world constraints.”
